AGR Technology Design is a wholly owned subsidiary of AGR Field Operations registered in the United Kingdom. AGR Field Operations is an operating division of the Norwegian based AGR Group.

Our primary business is the design, manufacture and distribution of advanced computerised ultrasonic acquisition systems.

We are located in Winsford in the county of Cheshire in northwest England. Founded in 1995, our innovative approach to ultrasonic technology addressed the need for miniaturisation in the emerging computerised industrial ultrasonics industry.

The design team developed the most compact combined Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD) & Pulse Echo ultrasonic instrumentation and software on the market at the time. It was from this solid experience that we developed our TD range of leading-edge instruments that include the miniature TD Pocket-Scan®, the remarkably successful TD Handy-Scan®, TD-Scan® and our flagship system the TD Focus-San®. Today our acquisition systems are used for the application of Pulse-Echo, ToFD and Phased Array ultrasonics in a wide range of industrial endeavours.

Our tradition of producing compact, advanced multi-functional ultrasonic acquisition equipment and software has remained the guiding philosophy of our design team, drawing on the combined experience of decades in the NDT, electronics and software industries.
