API 650 and API 653 work. Competitive compensation on an hourly plus overtime basis. Job location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Job Description: The Inspection Division of the company requires a full time certified API 653 inspector in Montreal, Quebec to provide tank inspection services in oil refineries and oil storage terminals within the Province. Functions include:

• Perform field inspections and prepare and submit inspection reports. • Travel involved performing API 653 inspection services. • Relate well with client refinery and oil terminal personnel in English and French • Perform safety audits

Qualifications:

• Must have an active API 653 Certificate. • Experience doing inspection of field erected welded storage tanks and be familiar with the tank erection business. • Be able to speak and write in English and French. • A background relating well with clients, suppliers, home office personnel and inspection personnel. • Thorough knowledge of API 650 and API 653 specifications and related inspection codes. • A working knowledge of welding procedures and NDT testing. • Dedication to work safety and quality. • Valid motor vehicle license required. • Travel required
